Cosmos wary of facing Swallows

Johannesburg- Ahead of their do-or-die clash against the wounded Moroka Swallows, Jomo Cosmos striker Charlton Mashumba insists the game will not be a walk in the park for his team.

Ezinkosi will battle for a spot in the 2015/16 ABSA Premiership when they face the Dube Birds in their final PSL and NFD relegation/promotion playoffs encounter at Dobsonville Stadium on Wednesday.

Mashumba hinted that it is very dangerous to play against a club who have nothing to lose.

Cosmos have to grab maximum points at all costs in the encounter.

“It’s not going to be an easy game for us, because Swallows will be playing without anything to lose in this game as they are already out of the race,” said Mashumba.

“It happened to us in the season when we were playing against Maluti FET College.

“And we had a tough clash so now we can’t say it’s guaranteed that we’ll win against Swallows.

“But we’ll do our best to win as a team because we know what’s at stake for us.”

The match will kick-off at 19:30.
