Amakhosi will lock horns against Ea Lla Koto at the Charles Mopeli stadium on Saturday.

Chiefs are coming from an impressive 4-0 win over Mpumalanga Black Aces in their MTN8 quarter-final last weekend and the former Bidvest Wits skipper dismissed talks that the Soweto giants are a one-man team as he concluded that they have enough depth in their squad to keep them going.

“I hope we’ll keepthe momentum going,” said Mashemaite.

“We have been working very hard in the pre-season in Port Elizabeth.

“The guys are really dedicated and looking forward to the game against Stars.

“There have been talks about Chiefs being a one man team.

“And the guys showed in the MTN8 that we have got enough depth in our squad to keep going.

“We play as a team.”

Meanwhile, Chiefs will be without Simphiwe Tshabalala, Matthew Rusike and Bernard Parker who are all set to miss the start of the 2014/15 campaign due to injuries.

Ea Lla Koto will be looking to make a good start to a new season under their new head coach Tom Saintfiet following their disappointing last season where they finished third from bottom.

Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00.
