While many keen soccer fans were waiting for Mamelodi Sundowns to break the bank with an audacious offer for Oupa Manyisa, it proved to be a long wait on deadline day as nothing happened after the 17:00 cut off time.

The rumour surrounding Bongani Ndulula transfer to Kaizer Chiefs also never made it over the finishe line as Amakhsoi were hoping to get a striker following the departure of Kingston Nkhatha to SuperSport United.
