Chippa are just one point from safety after drawing 1-1 away to Black Aces in midweek.

The Eastern Cape side has claimed 21 points from 14 home matches this season.

The Chilli Boys are placed 14th on the Absa Premiership log with 30 points from 29 matches.

Chiefs suffered their first home defeat of the season when they were beaten by Bidvest Wits in midweek.

The Soweto giants have claimed 32 points from 14 away matches this season.

The Amakhosi are placed first on the Absa Premiership log with 66 points from 29 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Chippa and Chiefs have met in three league matches since 2012/13.

The Amakhosi boast a 100 percent record in the sequence, with three wins from as many matches.

Chippa’s only previous home league match against Chiefs was a 2-0 loss in the second half of the 2012/13 season.

When the teams met earlier this season, Parker scored the only goal as the Amakhosi claimed a home win in Soweto.

Kick-off is at 15:00 on Saturday, May 9.
