According to KickOff, Bergman is looking forward to geting another opportunity to showcase his talent in the PSl after not being able to see his move through with Santos when the Peoples Team were a Premiership club.

"I never expected it to happen this quickly, but it’s been a lesson to myself, and hopefully to others that things can change in such a short space of time when you put in the hard work and dedication," says Bergman.

"It is my second PSL contract, the first was at Santos, but I wasn’t able to reach the levels I wanted to due to injury. But I am very happy for this opportunity to play at the highest level. This was my goal.

"I’ve spoken briefly to the coach [Ernst Middendorp], he sees potential in me, but harps on the fact that I must continue to work hard and stay focused, and not become complacent."
