Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs will look to return to winning form at home in the Absa Premiership when they host Chippa United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

READ: Tight battle - for second spot

Chiefs played to a third successive home draw when they were held 2-2 by Platinum Stars in midweek.

The Soweto side has claimed 15 points from seven home matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Free State Stars, Black Aces (both home) and Bloemfontein Celtic (away).

The Amakhosi are placed first on the PSL log with 37 points from 15 matches.

Chippa suffered their fifth loss of the season when they were beaten 3-1 at Polokwane City in their last outing.

The Eastern Cape side has claimed six points from as many away matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Platinum Stars (away), SuperSport United (home) and University of Pretoria (away).

The Chilli Boys are placed sixth on the Premiership log with 21 points from 14 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Chiefs and Chippa have met in just two league matches since 2012.

Both of those encounters took place in the 2012/13 season, with the Amakhosi winning 2-0 both home and away to complete a league ‘double’ over the Chilli Boys.

Kick-off is at 18:00 on Saturday, December 13.
