Chippa push for Sangweni stay

Cape Town - Chippa United are eager to hold onto their loan signing Thamsanqa Sangweni on a permanent basis.

According to KickOff, Sangweni is on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns and it has been revealed that United want to keep the midfielder in their ranks.

Sangweni has been is fine form which has seen the the 25-year-old solidify his spot in the Bafana Bafana AFCON squad.

Sundowns have not revealed their plans about the player having recently recalled Rashid Sumaila back from Kumasi Asante Kotoko in Ghana.

Chippa United return to PSL action on Tuesday, February 10 when they face University of Pretoria at the Tuks Stadium.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
