Chippa out to ruffle Tuks' feathers

Cape Town - Chippa United Head of Communications and Marketing Luthando Zibeko reveals that they hope to kick the wind out of the University of Pretoria.

Zibeko said the 4-1 loss against Orlando Pirates knocked their confidence after structuring a blueprint to come out with a positive result.

However, Zibeko reveals the team had to move on and shift their focus on to the next match.

AmaTuks are coming off a 3-0 victory over Polokwane City and are eager to continue where they left off.

“We have to be competitive because we have developed that streak,” Zibeko told Sport24.

“Our focus is on Tuks and to ruffle their feathers a bit.

"You know it took knock on us after we lost to Orlando Pirates after we had a draw against Kaizer Chiefs before.

"We had everything according to plan and we were looking to dominate Pirates but that didn’t work out for us, but we had to move on.

"We can’t cry about it, the team has to strive on improving with every game forward.

"Even though we have some players suspended, we have a strong squad to take on Tuks whether people believe it or not.

"Chippa as a whole always play to win, and aim to perform more than before.

"We want to be competitive because we have developed that positive, competitive streak and it is possible to be at the top."

United will challenge Tuks on Tuesday at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium.

Kick-off is set for 19:30.
