Chippa next for in-form Wits

Cape Town - Bidvest Wits will look to continue putting pressure on the Premiership's top three when they host Chippa United at the Bidvest Stadium on Saturday.

The Students are level on points with third-placed Orlando Pirates, who occupy the CAF Confederation Cup qualification spot. A win would either keep up the pressure on Pirates, who Wits beat 2-0 in their previous match, or take the Clever Boys above the Buccaneers.

Chippa recently ended a winless run that stretched back to November of last year when they beat Moroka Swallows 1-0 on Wednesday. That will have given them confidence, but they remain fourth from bottom in the league.

The Chilli Boys are still six points away from any relegation worries, but with their recent slide stopped they will want to keep up the winning form and not get back into their downward spiral.

Both teams have one player on suspension for the match.

Midfielder Phumlaani Ntshangasea is unavailable for Wits while Thamsanqa Sangweni is missing for the Chilli Boys.
