Cape Town - Chairperson of Chippa United supporters in the Eastern Cape Yebho Ntoni reveals that the fans have lost faith in Ernst Middendorp.

According to Soccer Laduma, Ntoni admits that the “supporters don’t want the coach” and the 2-0 defeat to Orlando Pirates was the last straw.

“There is unhappiness about the lack of results by the team. We have planned to go to the airport today. We have no confidence in the coach. We are not happy with the results and have no confidence in the coach for the way the team is playing under him,” said Ntoni.

"I’m not sure how the club is feeling about the current situation, but as the supporters we are not happy. We will be showing that at the airport today. It’s not a march and there will be no violence. We will be carrying placards for the chairman (Siviwe Mpengesi) to see what he can do. We want the coach to step down. We don’t want him.

"The team’s supporters don’t want the coach. As the leader of the supporters, I can have my candidate on who we want, but the decision won’t be ours. For now, it’s better for us to just say we don’t want the coach.”

Their next three league opponents are AmaZulu (home), Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits (both away).
