Chippa confirm Wolfsburg friendly

Cape Town - Chippa United will face German side, VfL Wolfsburg, in Port Elizabeth early next month when the Bundesliga outfit visit South Africa.

According to Chippa’s official website, the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium will be having its turf re-laid shortly after Chippa’s final game of 2014 against SuperSport United on December 21, meaning that it will be unavailable for the game against Wolfsburg on January 18.

Chippa’s COO, Lukanyo Mzinzi, confirmed that the Chilli Boys will host Wolfsburg at the aptly named Wolfson Stadium in Port Elizabeth during the Germans’ mid-season camp.

Wolfsburg will also play Ajax Cape Town.
