Chippa: The pressure is on Pirates

Cape Town - Chippa United’s head of Communications and Marketing Luthando Zibeko says that Orlando Pirates will be coming in very strong ahead of the clash at Orlando stadium.

Zibeko stressed that the Chilli Boys are motivated and prepared for the encounter on Tuesday, August 18.

“We know that Orlando Pirates is a big team, a bit of a hungry lion," Zibeko told Sport24.

"After the result in their league so we know they will be coming in very strongly but we will take the game to them.

“We are prepared and motivated. We are going in there to fight.

“I think Coach Sikhakhane has a selected a great team and all the players going onto that field are more than ready to get the job done."

Zibeko insist that the pressure is on the Sea Robbers which is why he says Chippa will be coming in strong.

“The pressure is definitely on Pirates. There are fans who already love the way Chippa is playing and we are excited to pull in more fans.

“As the season progresses and we play at Orlando often, we want to be on another level dominating that stadium more than the Pirates fans.

“Chippa is coming in strong. We are really hoping for a good game."

Kick-off is set for 19:30.
