Chiefs under learning process

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande insists the team are not yet the finished product after only a handful of games under new coach Steve Komphela.

Amakhosi were at their best in the 4-0 demolition of Free State Stars at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, but looked shaky in their goalless draw against Chippa United and 1-1 MTN semi-final stalemate at Bloemfontein Celtic earlier this season.

And while much has been expected of Komphela, who took over from two-time Premiership title winner Stuart Baxter this term, Zimbabwe international Katsande feels it will take time for the new coach's approach to sink in.

"We are still learning. We keep on learning with every game that we play," Katsande told Soccer Laduma.

"The coach is teaching us on how to play and which system to play and I think we are almost there. If we continue like this things will work for us."
