Chiefs to dominate PSL awards

Johannesburg - League and cup double winners Kaizer Chiefs are expected to dominate the proceedings at Sunday night’s end of the seasons Premier Soccer League awards at the Gold Reef City.

The top individual prizes for the 2012-2013 season follow Saturday’s Nedbank Cup final in Durban where Chiefs beat SuperSport United 1-0 after extra time to complete the double, having won the league title 10 days earlier.

Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune is a candidate for four different awards while Thuso Phala of Platinum Stars can win two.
