Chiefs to avoid 'blip'

Cape Town - As the PSL heads into recess, Stuart Baxter is hoping Kaizer Chiefs can hold onto their unbeaten streak.

According to KickOff, Baxter is nervously hopeful that Chiefs can at least pick up a point and avoid losing against Mpumalanga Black Aces in their final game of the year.

“The three points we got against Pirates created great joy amongst our supporters, but the three points we got against Free State Stars is worth just as much. The three points against Black Aces will just be as valuable," said Baxter.

“We’ve had this long run and we don’t just wanna have a blip at the wrong time just before we go to the Christmas.

"My turkey will taste a lot better if we can beat Aces."

When the teams met earlier this season, goals from Mandla Masango and Reneilwe Letsholonyane took the Amakhosi to a 2-1 away win.

Kick-off is at 15:30 on Saturday, December 20.
