Cape Town – Stuart Baxter hopes his Kaizer Chiefs side can start to bury any chances that present themselves in front of goal.
According to KickOff, Baxter admits that all the missed chances is starting to worry the British coach.
“What worries me and I said this to the players, is that if we are a top team then we shouldn’t be missing so many chances and presenting a few to the opponents because you can end up losing a lot of games 1-0. So that’s what would worry me,” said Baxter.
“The players deserve a pat on the back for their attacking play – to create those chances.
“But a Picasso painting without a signature of Picasso is worth the same as the one I painted! It is worth nothing, so that’s what our beautiful attacks are worth if you don’t put the ball in the back of the net.”
Meanwhile, Bidvest Wits will look to end Chiefs’ unbeaten run in the PSL when the teams meet at Bidvest Stadium.
Last season the Amakhosi took four points off the Clever Boys, winning 2-1 at home in Soweto before drawing 0-0 away in Johannesburg.
Kick-off is at 19:30 on Wednesday, December 3.
