Chiefs refreshed after camp

Cape Town - Tefu Mashamaite says that Kaizer Chiefs refreshed their aims and objectives following a successful camp in Cape Town.

Speaking to Chiefs’ official website, Mashamaite saw the short camp as an opportunity for the entire squad to bond before an exertion of games when the PSL resumes.

“It gave us an opportunity to bond as a Team,” says Tefu Mashamaite upon arrival at the Chiefs Village on Monday afternoon.

The team arrived from a week long training camp in Stellenbosch.

“We had an opportunity to refresh the aims and objectives we set out for the season,” adds Masha.

“The camp also gave us a chance to gather our thoughts after a protracted midseason break.

“We will see on the pitch of play how we respond to the break.

“We are ready, and we have to be ready.”

The Glamour Boys went into the break as the PSL runaway log leaders and will be looking at maintain the momentum with a trip to the Free State Stadium next week.

Stuart Baxter and his charges will play against Bloemfontein Celtic in the Absa Premiership fixture on Wednesday, February 11.

Kick-off is at 19:30.
