Chiefs quartet nearing fitness

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs say that they are hopeful of having an injury-free squad within the next month as a number of key figures step up their recovery from injury.

Amakhosi have been without goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune and striker Katlego Mphela for an extended period, but the pair are now slowly easing their way back into action, with Mphela having started running, while Khune has returned to limited training.

Striker Josta Dladla, who has been troubled by an Achilles tendon injury, has returned to training and has he been joined by George Maluleka who has been out of action since mid-October due to a groin strain.

The next fixture on the cards for Stuart Baxter's troops is a league clash with Mamelodi Sundowns on November 22.
