Chiefs take on Celtic under the FNB Stadium floodlights in the Absa Premiership, the third league game of the season.

The Glamour Boys have bagged six points in their two opening league fixtures. The other two wins came from the MTN 8 Cup.

Celtic have already collected two points from their two opening fixtures and will be looking to stop the Amakhosi in their winning trail.

Stuart Baxter looked ahead of the tantalising fixture with clear intention to keep the momentum.

“Celtic are probably disappointed with their start. They play better than their points show,” Baxter said on the clubs website.

“They will be coming at us hoping to cause an upset. They are a good side and they would love to start winning”

In head-to-head stats, Chiefs and Celtic have met 20 times since 2005, with Amakhosi winning 11 compared to only two of Celtic while seven games ended in draws.

“We have our ambitions as well. We want to keep the momentum and also protect our territory.
