Chiefs' legends to face United

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs' legends will reunite to face a formidable foe, the legends of Manchester United later this year.

Soccer Laduma are reporting that the Kaizer Chiefs' legends will again assemble to face another giant of English football, this after a successful outing against the Liverpool legends team at the end of last year.

The Chiefs' legends managed to win that encounter on penalties after a highly entertaining 5-5 draw.

Whilst the venue for the fixture is still to be decided, the date of the clash has been confirmed as the 15th of November 2014.

The Amakhosi legends will be up against many high profile names with the likes of Louis Saha, Andy Cole, Lee Sharpe set be included in the team. They will be supported on the pitch by Bryan Robson, Ronny Johnsen, Dennis Irwin, Clayton Blackmore, Jesper Blomqvist, and goalkeeper Raimond van der Gouw.

It is expected that Brian Baloyi, Lucas Radebe, Neil Tovey, Shoes Moshoeu, Doctor Khumalo as well as Shane MacGregor, Fani Madida and Donald Khuse will don the Kaizer Chiefs' jerseys once more.

The organisers of the game will be hoping to replicate the scenes at the Moses Mabhida stadium when Chiefs hosted the Anfield old boys last year.
