Kaizer Chiefs maintained their 100 percent record when they defeated SuperSport United 2-0 in their last league outing and will look to continue their winning run against AmaTuks.

The Soweto giants have been dominant at home so far this season with both Bloemfontein Celtic and SuperSport United sent home without a point to show for their travels.

Their next three league opponents in the PSL are Maritzburg United (home), Ajax Cape Town (away) and Moroka Swallows (home).

Stuart Baxter's men sit comfortably atop the PSL standings after five games. They are already four points better than seconod placed Ajax Cape Town and another win on Saturday will only further increase the pressure on the chasing pack.

University of Pretoria are a side that has traveled well so far this season, the Tshwane side is unbeaten away from home this season with two draws and one win from their three matches played on the road in the PSL.

AmaTuks are placed 11th on the log with five points from as many matches.

In head-to-head stats, Chiefs and Tuks have met in four league matches since the 2012/13 season.

The Glamour Boys hold the advantage with two wins compared to one for students from Pretoria,  the other match ended in a draw.

The matches between these two sides are not generally high-scoring with the four matches having produced just five goals.

Chiefs have an unbeaten home record against AmaTuks in the league, with one win and one draw from two games as hosts.

Last season, the Amakhosi completed a league "double" over the Steve Barker's side, winning 1-0 both home and away.

Kick-off is scheduled for 15:00 at FNB Stadium on Saturday, 13 September.
