The defender played for the Brazilians between 2008 and 2010. Speaking to Amakhosi’s official website, the right-back heaped praise on The Brazilians head-coach Pitso Mosimane.

“They have a good coach,” said Gaxa.

“I had a good time at the club. However, I am a professional. I am now a Khosi. Everything I do now on the field is for Kaizer Chiefs.”

Following a two week break due to the FIFA international break Gaxa reveals that the Glamour Boys are refreshed and ready to go.

“The break was a time for the players to relax a bit and to refresh.

“We are looking forward to the match.

The Brazilians are at present in fifth position on the Absa Premiership log, 12 points behind Chiefs who are on top. Sundowns have scored ten goals in the ten league games played so far, while they have conceded six times. The Amakhosi have netted 15 times and only conceded four goals.

“We worked on a few things at training.

“Let’s hope that we will be able to take this to Saturday’s match.

“Sundowns are the reigning champions. I can’t wait for the game to start.”

Kick-off is at 15:30.
