Chiefs, Celtic to get Abraw answers

Cape Town - The PSL's Dispute Resolution Chamber will rule on the Camaldine Abraw case by Friday after Bloemfontein Celtic and Kaizer Chiefs gave their testimony.

The Togo international is at the centre of a heated transfer saga, having been unveiled as one of AmaKhosi's new signings during the off-season, only for Phunya Sele Sele to claim he had signed a pre-agreement with them.

The case has since been postponed numerous times, but final arguments were heard this week and the DRC are set to make their ruling by the weekend.

Celtic said on their website: "The PSL's Dispute Resolution Chamber heard the final testimonies from both Bloemfontein Celtic and Kaizer Chiefs concerning the signing of two contracts by Camaldine Abraw on Monday.

After the matter was concluded, representatives of both teams were mandated to hand in Heads of Argument by Wednesday.

"With both the player and his agent giving testimony today as the case was being wrapped, the League will endeavor to give a verdict by at least Friday the 28th of August."
