Chiefs 4th in African table

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs have moved up to fourth in FootballDatabase's African rankings, while surprisingly their Soweto rivals, Orlando Pirates, don't even crack the top 20.

The form table is decided by allocating points based on the respective clubs' performances, with Amakhosi finding themselves fourth in the standings, behind the top two of TP Mazembe and AS Vita Club, both from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Pirates, meanwhile, are down in 24th, despite their run to this year's CAF Confederations Cup final, where they will face Etoile du Sahel, who sit 10th in the rankings.

Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns are just outside the top 10, sitting in 12th, with Bidvest Wits in 30th while Bloemfontein Celtic are 42nd.
