Chenene looking for change

Cape Town - Experienced winger Bennett Chenene is set for showdown talks with SuperSport United CEO, Stan Matthews, due to the uncertainty about his future.

Chenene is looking for a new home for the 2015/16 campaign, having been an outcast at Matsatsantsa since the arrival of coach Gordon Igesund last season.

The 31-year-old has since been banished to train with the second team under development coach Ricardo Katza, after being informed that he was surplus to requirements.

"I don't want to say much except that I want to meet with Stan Matthews and resolve the issue in a more peaceful manner," Chenene told KickOff.

"My agent is coming over and hopefully we will meet with Stan Matthews on Tuesday so that we could start to concentrate in finding a new team because the coach has indicated that I am not part of his plans for next season."
