Cernak joins SuperSport

Cape Town - SuperSport United have confirmed the capture of attacking midfielder, Isaka Aongor Cernak-Okanya from Central Coast Mariners.

The 26-year-old joins Matsatsantsa on a three-year deal and will link up with Jeremy Brockie and Michael Boxall at the Pretoria club.

"Cernak is a very exciting player. I think you guys will be blown away when you see him," said SuperSport CEO, Stan Matthews.

"He's got skill, he's got flair, he's got attitude, pace, and I think he will bring out the best of Lebogang Manyama because it's not going to be easy for Manyama to get into the team.

"Then we have Michael Boxall, the New Zealand international, who I think is going to be one of the best defenders in the League.

"From everything we have seen, he has power, pace, reads the game well and a no-nonsense approach and I think he is going to be a big hit."
