The Celtic boss says the days of his team just playing to qualify for the MTN8 should come to an end and wants a side that will push the big guns for major trophies.
“I have been working with my management as well as the technical team to identify players that can help us be a force to be reckoned with,” Tshabalala told Sports24.
“I’m not happy that this club has failed to win trophies regularly and we are working on bringing quality players to strength our squad.”
Tshabalala said the first step was adding Geoffrey Massa from University of Pretoria as well as Thabang Matuka from Maritzburg United.
“These two will sure add value to our squad, but we are not done buying players as we need four more players of high quality to help us be a competitive side,” said Tshabalala.
“I want to see the team doing well starting with the MTN 8 which will be the first competition of the new season,” he said.
