Abafana Bes’thende are placed eighth on the Absa Premiership
log with seven points from five matches.
Celtic racked up a fourth successive league win when they
beat University of Pretoria 2-0 away on September 27.
The Bloemfontein side has claimed six points from three away
matches this season.
Phunya Sele Sele are placed third on the Absa Premiership
log with 13 points from six matches.
In head-to-head stats, Arrows and Celtic have met in 22
league matches since 2000/01.
Phunya Sele Sele have 11 wins compared to just two for
Abafana Bes’thende, while nine matches have been drawn.
Arrows have won two of their 11 home matches against Celtic,
suffering five defeats in the process.
When the teams last met in the 2013/14 season, Phunya Sele
Sele took four points off Abafana Bes’thende, winning 3-0 at home before a 1-1
