Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic coach Clinton Larsen has thrown a lifeline to striker Siyabonga Nontshinga to revive his career at Phunya Sele Sele.
Nontshinga, who boasts three Bafana caps, spent the second half of last season on loan at National First Division side Mpumalanga Black Aces.
He scored six goals in the final 12 matches of the league campaign and is now hoping to help his side through the PSL promotion-relegation playoffs.
And his form at Aces has impressed Celtic coach Larsen, who revealed the striker will get a chance to return to Bloemfontein next season.
"Siyabonga has been away on loan and done quite well," Larsen told the SowetanLIVE website. "He will join us again for our pre-season, when we will have another look at him and assess what we want to do going forward."
Nontshinga joined Celtic at the start of last season from relegated Jomo Cosmos, and made 11 appearances, scoring only one goal.
