Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic take on fellow Absa Premiership side, University of Pretoria, today (Tuesday) as the technical team led by coach Clint Larsen looks at his options ahead of the new season.

Celtic are gearing up for the new season and they are currently camping in Johannesburg as they prepare for what is sure to be a pre-season packed with gruelling tests for the players.

Team manager, John Maduka, told Sport24 that they have already played against Orlando Pirates as they prepare for the new season.

"We are camping in Joburg, and on Sunday we played against Pirates in a friendly game and on Tuesday (today) we are going to play against Tuks," Maduka told Sport24

“These are just part of our preparations for the season ahead."
