Bloemfontein - Franklin Cale has struck in the dying moments to keep Ajax Cape Town's hopes of finishing in the top-eight on track as they saw off Bloemfontein Celtic 3-2 on Sunday.
The league’s top scorer, Lerato Lamola, proved once again that he is the man Celtic can look to for goals when he put them ahead as early as the ninth minute.
Both sides went out looking for that second goal, but it was Celtic who found it when Thapelo Morena got on the end of a Keagan Buchaman assist to put Siwelele two goals to the good at half time.
Whatever was said in the Ajax dressing room certainly made an impact as the Urban Warriors came out in the second half and got the first goal back less than ten minutes after the restart through Granwald Scott.
The visitors were level soon after when Bantu Mzwakali was fouled by Alfred Ndengane. The midfielder then got up, dusted himself off and scored with the resulting free kick to make it 2-2.
The momentum was clearly with the Urban Warriors as the clock ticked down, and they completed their comeback in added time through Cale, who latched onto a Cecil Lolo assist before slotting home to steal all three points.
