Cape Town - Franklin Cale acknowledges that the Ajax Cape Town senior players will have a tremendous responsibility when they play against Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium.

The 31-year-old Cale has featured prominently for his club throughout the current campaign and has even contributed with two goals of his own.

He understands just how much will be at stake for both teams on Wednesday and hopes that his past experiences will help his team negotiate one of their most difficult matches of the season thus far.

"It will be vital for players with experience to do well against Chiefs," Cale told his club's official website.

Throughout this campaign, the fact that Ajax have a youthful squad has been well documented.

Meanhwile, late last year, coach Roger de Sa told Football411 that the team has exceeded expectations already, primarily because of the youthful squad, and Cale believes that many of the younger players will also have a critical role to play against the Amakhosi this week.

"I also think the younger players at Ajax have experience already, because they start playing in the PSL from a young age," added Cale.
