Bucs will win derby - Da Sa

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town coach Roger de Sa believes that Orlando Pirates will win the upcoming Soweto derby match.

According to KickOff, De Sa reveals that following the departure of Vladimir Vermezovic a man like Eric Tinkler, who now holds the position of caretaker coach, has the ability to steer the Buccaneers to victory at the FNB Stadium.

"A new coach will always inspire a team and this will be the case on Saturday when Eric is on the Pirates bench," De Sa said.

"He will bring in his own technical approach to the team and I think this is what the team needs to do well."

With Kaizer Chiefs being undefeated there is  shadow of doubt around South African football lovers that the scores has already been settled and Amakhosi will once again reign supreme. De Sa differs in sentiments as the former Pirates coach himself states that a Soweto derby is different game.

"This League fixture is a very special one for the players and I can tell you that previous results do not really have an effect when these two teams play against each other.

“It will be a very interesting match and I think Pirates will rise to the occasion and collect the maximum points," the former Pirates coach explains.

Kick-off is at 15:30 on Saturday, December 6.
