Bucs sponsor deal with Peugeot ends

Cape Town - The partnership between Orlando Pirates and Peugeot has come to an end.

According to Orlando Pirates website, after four years the French based company has opted not to renew its contract with the 2015 CAF Confederations Cup finalists.

Peugeot, who had been the Official Vehicle Partner for Orlando Pirates since 2011, supplied the Club a comprehensive range of vehicles that were used by the Club for their daily activities.

During this period, Pirates went on to secure their second treble in as many season’s and also reached the final of the prestigious CAF Champions League final in 2013.

"Orlando Pirates Football Club would like to thank Peugeot for their wonderful service during the course of the partnership and we would also like to wish the company all the best in their future endeavours as they continue to compete in the highly competitive yet fragile vehicle market."
