Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates defender Thabo Matlaba insists that the team will have to bounce back from the defeat in the CAF Champions League.
Meanwhile, Matlaba is not too worried about the sea robbers' form going into their next match.
"The league for us is still very young," Matlaba said.
"We have played one game and this is the second game for us at home, so it is not in Pirates culture to lose consecutive matches and on Wednesday we will have to beat City.
"City is in this league for the first time so coming from a defeat from Congo, we have no other option but to go all out to win the match.
"We will respect them, but I just think they came to us at the wrong time.
"We have the obligation to win on Wednesday."
According to Orlando Pirates' official website, the Bafana Bafana international said that the team has regrouped after their defeat to AC Leopards in Dolisie and that they are geared up to collect maximum points against a troubled Polokwane City at Orlando Stadium on Wednesday.
City have sacked their coach, Duncan Lechesa, after losing their first four matches of the PSL season.
