Johannesburg - Ahead of their final CAF Confederation Cup Group B clash against Egyptian giants Zamalek, former Orlando Pirates striker Jerry Sikhosana said he wouldn't be concerned with results this weekend because the Buccaneers have already booked their place in the semi-finals.
Zamalek and Pirates, who are vying for top spot in Group B, clash at the State Petro Sport stadium in Cairo on Sunday.
“Legs of Thunder” said that the most important job for the Soweto giants is to make sure they advance to the final and claim the continental prize - as they did with the CAF Champions League in 1995.
“The results won’t matter to me because they have already qualified for the semi-finals,” said Sikhosana.
“The most important thing to me is winning in the semi-finals and going all the way to win the cup.
“They must win and make sure that we claim continental glory as we did in 1995.
“It won’t matter to me how they will play against Zamalek in Egypt on Sunday, because even if they lose they will still go through to the next round.
Heading into the encounter, the Buccaneers are coming off a 2-0 win over AC Leopards of Congo-Brazzaville while Zamalek enjoyed an emphatic 2-1 triumph over struggling CS Sfaxien last month.
Kick-off is set to commence at 20:30 (SA time).
