Bucs' fringe players getting form

Cape Town - Professor Augusto Palacios believes the first team players who have played in the Multichoice Diski Challenge are picking up top form again.

Palacios who guided Orlando Pirates (senior team) to PSL glory back in 2012, insisted that Tlou Segolela, Khethokwakhe Masuku, Lehlogonolo Masalesa and Brighton Mhlongo were instrumental for the Sea Robbers in the Multichoice Diski Challenge matches played over the weekend.

“It is very nice for the players to show they can come and play,” said Palacios to the club's website.

“For Brighton Mhlongo, it is very good. He is not playing because Senzo (Meyiwa) is on top, but he must have games.”

“I was happy to see the players show commitment on Saturday; on Sunday we didn’t win, but we played with the players that just came to the team; if they were together it was easy but I’m very happy with their contribution.”

“I saw Masuku and Sox (Segolela) are not playing but their form is coming back.”
