In his column on the Buccaneers' official website, Modisane wrote that despite the tight encounter the Buccaneers showed character.
“Our players once again showed massive character and will to make the Ghost proud,” Modisane said.
“Everything worked out perfectly well for us and should our players have a bit of more calm, we could have stretched out lead; but we are happy with the 2-1 result.”
“We now have Moroka Swallows on the 9th of August and a short trip to Milpark on the 17th for the first leg of the MTN8 Semi-final.”

“I want to call on our fans to make sure that they keep the same spirit; we want to win everything this season and we can only do that if our supporters are in the same spirit.”
“The match against Swallows is an important match and we have to win it,” he concluded.
