The New Zealand international joined Matsatsantsa on a two-and-a-half year deal after head coach Gordon Igesund managed to convince him of the opportunities playing for the Tshwane giants could afford him.

And, despite only arriving in the country in January, the 27-year-old striker insists he already feels at home with United.

"I've settled in very well," Brockie told KickOff.

"From day one walking into the changing room, the boys have made me feel very welcome and my wife has already met some lovely people which makes life a lot easier when you settle quickly.

"It's everything that I expected and more.

“Gordon [Igesund] sold the club to me as an ambitious club that will focus a lot on attacking football and getting the ball into the box: that's what every striker wants to hear and the training sessions have been tough, but enjoyable and fun.

"The setup is great; SuperSport looks after their players very well on and off the pitch."
