Cape Town - SuperSport United's new signing, Jeremy Brockie, is looking
forward to playing in South Africa and is targeting silverware with his
new club.
The New Zealand international has already signed a contract and will join the PSL club in January from Australia's Wellington Phoenix.
"I wanted a fresh challenge and also wanted to play overseas," Brockie told KickOff. " SuperSport United are a very ambitious club and I'm an ambitious player so hopefully during my time with SSU I can help win the club some silverware."
The forward has only scored one goal in 45 appearances for The All Whites, but is hoping to be more prolific for his new side.
He added: "My biggest strength as a player is in and around the box. Though I will need to learn a few new celebrations for when I score goals as my dancing skills are not the greatest."
Brockie will be hoping to be in the team when SuperSport resume their season against Free State Stars in February, as they look to climb the table after starting the new year in 11th place.
