According to KickOff, Daniels reveals that the New Zealand
international has received a lot of support from the players, Gordon Igesund
and the backroom staff.
“As a foreigner, you come in and you don’t know the
situation so we are helping him. We know he is a good player; we know his
strengths and weaknesses and we’ve been working with him,” Daniels said.
Daniels adds that he hopes Brockie remains grounded after
settling in so well in the country and having already netted five goals.
“We can always hope for a top goalscorer in our team. He
must keep his feet on the ground, keep focused and try to always remember what
made him score the goals. He is happy to be a part of SuperSport United.
“He set himself a target to score about eight to ten goals
until the end of the season and he will set himself a higher target next
season,” Daniels concludes.
