Boxall: Happy to get the clean sheet

Cape Town - SuperSport United defender Michael Boxall said that it was an experience playing a game over two days and very happy to get the clean sheet.

Boxall scored the opening goal that gave SuperSport the lead against Orlando Pirates.

The New Zealander said he is still adjusting to the PSL but the team has been very helpful on and off the field.

"Well, that’s the first time I’ve played a game over two days, so that was quite an experience," Boxall said after the game.

"The boys dug in well, particularly today, and happy to get the clean-sheet.

"It’s been a bit of an adjustment [to the PSL], still a bit of ways to go, but the team have been more than helpful, a great, great off the field, so it’s helped a lot.”

Supersport United finished the match leading 1-0 to Orlando Pirates at the Peter Mokaba stadium in the Absa Premiership clash.
