Cape Town - Polokwane City coach Boebie Solomons has reportedly been fired from his coaching post with the PSL club.

According to Soccer Laduma, after four poor consecutive results in the Premiership, Solomons along with his assistant were given their marching orders by the club.

“Yes, that's correct we've parted ways with the coach Boebie Solomons and his assistant, Junior Morake,” confirmed the club’s communications manager Abel Mohubedu.

“It's not about the results but we decided to amicably part ways.”

It is revealed that Junior Bhengu and Bernard Molekwa will take over the reins in at City as both have been with the club for some time now.
