Cape Town - Moroka Swallows have confirmed both Patrick Mabedi and Goodman Mazibuko will remain at The Nest to assist new head coach Craig Rosslee.

The pair had been standing as joint-caretaker coaches following Fani Madida's departure from the Dube Birds hot seat a fortnight ago, although their futures were left in doubt following Thursday's confirmation of Rosslee's appointment.

However, Swallows CEO Leon Prins has confirmed the duo will remain at the Dobsonville Stadium as assistant coaches to former AmaZulu boss Rosslee.

"They (Mabedi and Mazibuko) have both been in the club for a long time and served as captains," Prins said of the decision to retain the pair.

Rosslee and the two assistant coaches will be looking to revive Swallows' ailing Premiership campaign after the FIFA international break, with the Birds' next opponents coming in the form of Chippa United on April 15 at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
