Billiat eager to make his mark

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Khama Billiat is hoping to return stronger than before in the second half of the Premiership season as the Tshwane giants look to reel in runaway leaders Kaizer Chiefs.

The Brazilians finished 2014 second in the standings, but sit some 15 points adrift of an unbeaten Amakhosi side who look on course to win back the PSL crown they lost to Sundowns last term.

However, with Billiat now back to full fitness, the Zimbabwe international is looking ahead to a goal-laden 2015 as he hopes to start piling the pressure on Chiefs.

"I have recovered from injury so this means that I will be able to contribute more to the team if the coaches wants me to," said Billiat.

"Hopefully, I can score more goals for the team. We will work as a team so that we win as many games as possible.

"The idea, from my perspective, will be to pile up as much pressure as possible on Kaizer Chiefs. We can only do this by winning as many games as we can."
