Cape Town - Midfield ace Khama Billiat knows the Nedbank Cup final against Ajax Cape Town offers Mamelodi Sundowns a last chance at redemption after a poor offering this season.
The blistering Sundowns winger will face his former club in the Ke Yona showpiece at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday, with both teams entering the encounter with similar ambitions of ending long cup droughts.
The big-spending Brazilians will also be looking to make up for their shortcoming in the Premiership, where they conceded their crown to Kaizer Chiefs.
"For us the final is a chance of getting some bit of happiness after a difficult season," the Zimbabwe international told Football411.
"It means a lot we need to finish strong.
"We are going there with a positive mind. Hopefully we will win. We have been working hard for this one.
"Ajax are never easy to play against because they have so much energy.
"They have had the momentum this season after a good season.
"We have to score the chances that we have been missing this past season.
"For me it's also motivation because I will have to come up with something during the game.
"I must be mentally strong because at the end of the game I don't want any regrets."
