Cape Town – It has been reported that SuperSport United are interested in signing Orlando Pirates midfielder, Thandani 'Bibo' Ntshumayelo.

According to Soccer Laduma, Gordon Igesund is planning to add the Buccaneer midfielder along with Platinum Stars duo Tshepo Gumede and Robert Ngambi.

Igesund has lifted United to seventh position since taking over Cavin Johnson and now has plans to further Matsatsantsa’s position on the Absa Premiership standings with much needed signings.

It has been revealed that Ntshumayelo would be a tough target to land as he regularly plays for the Sea Robbers whereas Gumede and Ngambi could be more realistic signings come January.

Meanwhile, United will look to get an early double over Pirates when they host Vladimir Vermezovic at the Peter Mokaba Stadium having already beaten the Bucs in the Telkom Knockout.

Last season Matsatsantsa completed a league ‘double’ over Bucs, winning 2-1 in Soweto and 1-0 in Tshwane.

Kick-off is at 15:30 on Sunday, November 23.
