According to Soccer Laduma, unnamed sources at the club have confirmed that Barker have been sacked following recent results.
Aces have competed in five PSL games since the resumption of the campaign but have not mustered a single win as have they drawn twice and lost on three occasions.
Defeat in their recent visit to the Cape Town Stadium, a 2-1 loss at the hands of Ajax Cape Town is believed to have been the final straw for Aces management.
Reports suggest that Barker’s assistant, Johnny Ferreira, has been axed as well and that Jacob Sakala will take over the reigns.
Aces find themselves 13th on the PSL standings with 23 points.
AmaZayoni are set to face Moroka Swallows on Saturday, March 14 at the Mbombela Stadium and whether Barker will be in Aces' technical area is still unknown.
Kick-off is at 15:30.
