Usuthu were relegated on the final day of the league season with the 2-1 defeat against Maritzburg United.

The former University of Pretoria coach was unable to identify which of the players would be staying with the club next season after relegation, but he is hoping to keep as many as possible.

"At the moment we have not decided which players will stay or go. But I would have loved to have some experienced players as well in the NFD.

"I think by next week we should know which players are saying with us."

One player who definitely will be staying is club captain Robyn Johannes.

"Robyn is still contracted and he is staying. He is a quality player and he gave his best for the club."
