Cape Town - Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Clive Barker reckons that his side are playing much better football than Kaizer Chiefs.
Kaizer Chiefs are the only Absa Premiership side left undefeated but according to KickOff, Barker is adamant that AmaZayoni are playing the beautiful game much better than the Naturena side following Aces 3-1 win over AmaZulu with a man down.
"If you didn't know, we are unbeaten on the road so far and I'm delighted for the success of Aces,” claimed the former Bafana Bafana coach.
“We are not a huge club, but we play the best football in South Africa … better than Kaizer Chiefs."
Black Aces find themselves sneaking back into the top eight with 20 points (seventh position), having won five games and losing five games.
AmaZulu are still in last position with seven points having played 13 games but Barker is confident that his nephew (Steve Barker) can save Usuthu from being relegated.
"They will survive, no doubt about that," said Barker.
“I'm not happy to beat AmaZulu; this is my team. Am I supposed to be happy? I love AmaZulu … I started there in 1974!”
